Permitting services include: all necessary local, state, and/or federal building and occupancy permits (submitted in accordance with appropriate UBC, UFC, NEC, UMC, UPC, EIA/TIA requirements), environmental permits (i.e., tidelands, wetlands, parklands, game refuges/sanctuaries, and sensitive waterways), hazardous waste, wastewater, air release, and solid waste permits, and any special land use permits that your project may encounter. NHTI works with various regulators in demonstrating the project requirements and compliance with regulatory demands. We have significant and developed professional contacts with municipal, state and federal regulators to ensure timely review and processing of licensing and permits.
Additional NHTI services include site acquisition, which range from easements, long-term lease agreements, and special use permits. We are experienced in dealing with private landowners and government agencies. We have successfully obtained sites in areas that are generally difficult to acquire.
