New Horizons Telecom, Inc. (NHTI)
began operating in Alaska in 1978 to meet the challenge of
bringing modern telecommunications services to remote villages
in Alaska. NHTI has completed over
1,000 projects in communications development ranging in size
from under ten thousand dollars to over 25 million dollars.
NHTI began operations performing
civil engineering aspects of remote long-line communications
facilities, including site prep, foundations, towers, structures
and buildings. NHTI's services have
since broadened and the company is now recognized by clients
as having "from the ground up" capabilities. This includes
all aspects of facility design and construction, equipment
installation, and total project management.
Providing highly competitive, quality services nationwide
and worldwide for 24 years, you might be surprised to know
that New Horizons Telecom is headquartered
in Alaska with full-service branches in Atlanta and Seattle.
Honored as one of Alaska's top 49 businesses, we are proud
of our years of service and our role in the cost-effective
enhancement of the facilities and systems of our many customers.
We have proudly served local exchange carriers, long-haul
carriers, cable TV and broadband providers, cellular and PCS
carriers, the FAA, NWS, USCG, DOD and other government agencies,
as well as large commercial institutions including banks and
universities.
