New Horizons Telecom, Inc. (NHTI) began operating in Alaska in 1978 to meet the challenge of bringing modern telecommunications services to remote villages in Alaska. NHTI has completed over 1,000 projects in communications development ranging in size from under ten thousand dollars to over 25 million dollars. NHTI began operations performing civil engineering aspects of remote long-line communications facilities, including site prep, foundations, towers, structures and buildings. NHTI's services have since broadened and the company is now recognized by clients as having "from the ground up" capabilities. This includes all aspects of facility design and construction, equipment installation, and total project management.
